SPRING CONCERT - APRIL 29, 2023

Madison High School Auditorium. It will be a long but great day! Here are details for the concert, which is in 10 days! Please read through ALL of this information.

There will again be three shows, we received all positive feedback from doing it this way the past two years. We know for those of you with dancers on all age teams, this makes for a very long day, but for the majority of families this works really well. • SCHEDULE Each team will have 10-15 minutes on the stage set their routines. All dancers should wear their official team gear (team shirt and black pants for juniors and pre’s, and warm-ups for Seniors). And remember NO FOOD OR DRINK is allowed in the auditorium or changing rooms - not even water. Dancers can eat in the hallways or outside, but not in the changing rooms. There is enough time between the end of stage times and the time the dancers are supposed to arrive, that there shouldn't be a need for any great feasts in the hallways this year. *ALL TEAMS will meet for the Cast Meeting and Finale practice. Dancers should arrive 15 min before their stage time begins STAGE PRACTICE TIMES Arrive 15 min before!

No food or drink is allowed to be eaten in these rooms. We cannot leave a mess. They must not touch any of the instruments or other equipment, including the music stands. Due to problems with dancer behavior in the band and orchestra rooms last year, we must have an adult supervisor in the rooms at all times. This will be on the help sign-up sheet. The dancers will be using the rooms around the auditorium as follows: Green Room: Comp and Gold Team boys and girls (there are two rooms) Orchestra room: All Girls: (except Comp & Gold) Band room: All Boys (except Comp & Gold) • SHOW TIMES If dancers wish to give their coach a gift or card, they need to do it before the 5:00 show. The dancers must be on the stage ramp at 4:40 if they would like to present their coach something. During the performances, dancers will be allowed to sit in the upper rows of the balcony if they would like to watch the other teams. We will tape them off so that spectators don’t sit there before the shows. Dancers who leave must return 30 min before the next show begins. • SHOW ORDER: We are still working on the show order. It is very tricky with shared dancers, and also fitting in the lift teams which have dancers from up to four different teams. We’ll send it out as soon as it if finalized. • Registration for next year: Open May 1–14. We will send out registration information early next week with the links to the registration forms. I'm sure there will be a few p.s.'s coming, and also some separate messages specific to teams. We are looking forward to a fantastic show. Thanks for all you've done to make it all possible.
