WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO JOIN OUR IBA FAMILY
The Idaho Ballroom Academy is a program for youth ages 6 - 18. Dancers meet once a week during the school year for a team practice
to learn performance routines and ballroom technique. They perform at many local events including half-times, floor shows, school assemblies, and concerts. During the summer they travel to England to compete in an international competition or to Southern California for a family-based travel performance experience.

"OUR UNDERLYING DESIRE IS FOR OUR YOUNG DANCERS TO BECOME LIFETIME DANCERS."
Our Story
The Idaho Ballroom Academy started in 1998 when Shawn Fisher was asked to take over a small struggling 8-couple youth team. We thought it was a one-year one-time deal. It has now grown into full programs in both Idaho Falls and Rexburg serving over 400 students a year on 20 teams.

Our Vision
Our underlying desire is for our young dancers to become lifetime dancers. Ballroom dancing is one of the greatest life skills, but has largely died out as a social activity in our communities. We hope that the dancers will come to love ballroom dancing and take it into their marriages, families and communities so that it will once again become a vibrant social activity that will live on for generations.
